We offer an extensive coaching programme for children and adults during the week and on Saturday mornings, ranging from mini red ball all the way through to beginner and intermediate adult groups.

All abilities and fitness levels are welcomed and encouraged to participate however they can. Tennis is our passion.

Our ethos “fun whilst learning” ensures we provide motivational, active and fun tennis coaching sessions to all, teaching skills and techniques through games, drills and a little bit of competition.

Having worked as Head Coach at a range of different tennis clubs, I decided I wanted to do more for grass roots tennis, leaving a legacy, and so set up my own Tennis Academy based in Witham, Essex in April 2017.

We serve the local community and have forged strong links with local schools, supporting them in tennis delivery and to be part of LTA initiatives. Priding ourselves on providing high quality coaching for every age and ability, squads filled quickly and we were able to enter local and national leagues, competing successfully with very inexperienced but enthusiastic and motivated players winning their matches consistently. This has continued over the past 4 years and have built a reputation as a force to be reckoned with in competition, but one of the friendliest clubs.

Our club development, coaching programme and success in building a strong community led us to win LTA Essex Club of the Year at the end of 2018. More recently the Academy has secured a further 2 sites in Essex, where comprehensive coaching programmes are being established.

My vision is to create tennis communities and local clubs and play for many where there is none, so our sites may be sometimes limited in facilities (parks and schools to name 2 of my current sites) but the coaching is of high quality and the numbers of players grown quickly.

I pride my Academy on being welcoming to all that want to play. We won LTA Essex Parks and Communities award for our work in rebuilding one of our sites as Maldon Promenade Park in 2020.

The Academy coaching philosophy tennis for all, fun whilst learning runs through everything we do. Young or old, experienced or new to the sport, having fun lies at the heart of the game and builds players passion for tennis and the lasting legacy we want.
